'Foothills' is inspired by the view of the San Gabriel Mountains from my front porch in Pasadena. Over the years of living here, I've come to find great comfort in having these hill as my constant compainions as I go about my day. There is something so reassuring about their geological presence that immediatedly puts my own worries into sharp perspective and lightens my load considerably.
